MICHAEL FEE SELECTED TO OSSCA HALL

Longtime Summit Country Day Coach Has Won Three State Titles

Columbus, Ohio — The Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association (OSSCA), is proud to announce the selection of long-time Summit Country Day Soccer Head Coach, Mike Fee, into the OSSCA Hall of Fame.

Fee is a three-time state champion (2011, 2015, 2017). He has been honored by the Southwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association as their district coach of the year six times. He has been named league coach of the year seven times.

On the field, Fee is just completed his 28th season of high school soccer. After six years as a junior varsity coach, he became head coach of Summit Country Day and has held that position for 22 seasons. As a head coach, he is approaching the 300-win milestone with a career record is 292-103-40. His teams have captured five regional championships and eight district championships since 2000.

The Cincinnati, Ohio native has produced eight All-Americans. Fee, a graduate of University of Cincinnati has spent his entire career as a high school teacher. He holds a Masters of Education degrees, from the Xavier University.

Not only has Fee been a successful coach, but has been a servant to high school soccer as well. Fee served as President of the SWOHSSCA for nearly 10 years, and also served for four years as its treasurer.

Fee and his wife of 25 years, Diane have three children, Carter, Alexis and Annie.

Fee will be enshrined into the Hall of Fame at the OSSCA yearly banquet in Columbus, on January 7th.
